Re:

Just had a look through, and I'm annoyed that I didnt get everyones cars in :(

I mainly got the people whose boots were pointing towards the strip, as the sun wasn't in the right place to get a good shot for those that were parked facing the strip

Re:

Lee, your "misses" wants a wide angle lens for landscapes, the 18mm you already have is wider than your "point and shoot camera" (at 35mm). Now, I have a 12-24mm Nikkor, but any wider than that and you have to be careful of Barrel distortion, 12mm is just on the verge of going that way. Barrel disto...

Re:

Blantant & Lee... You both already have an 18-55mm which is great for day to day, but for motorsport, wildlife etc obviously you'll need a longer zoom. I have a 28-300mm, but obviously you guys don't need one quite so wide (the range I mean, as you both already have a lens going upto 55mm). Nikon do...

If you provide me with your reg number (or just a part of it) then I can let you kno and post what I have.

I tried to take photos of as many that were on the Zone stand as possible, but couldn't due to ever increasing numbers of people walking straight through the shot! LOL

My photography from BMW Show @ Santa Pod...

Took over 750 photos in total, ranging from static shots, 1/4 mile action, handling course, drift area and the pole dancers.

Will stick a range of them up tomorow.

Still need to get my website up and running, but for now I'll link them straight to here.

Thanks

Re: BBR Starchip... any experiences?

Just been out in it, no noticeable difference, but thats cool - thats not the reason I bought the ECU.

It was just going to be a bonus if the difference was noticeable.

Redline is still at 6.5k too. :)

Re: BBR Starchip... any experiences?

I'll go out for a 'test run' in a mo, and see for myself lol Basically, the reason for the initial post was because he said "not a bbrstar chip i hope" Basically a friend of his had alot of problems with his, and it wouldn't even idle... Mine idles perfect so I'm hoping it drives well too... hoping ...

Do you know if the BBR-Starchip is similar to either the Wild or Mild Zonechip?

Characteristics I mean, and if so - which one is it nearer to?

Re: BBR Starchip... any experiences?

hmmm my original ecu is bust! LOL so no chance of that

i don't particulary mind, i just didnt want any adverse affects

it's only a track car, so MPG certainly doesn't bother me

on a trackday, my standard ecu got me 150 miles from Ԛ£50 petrol! LOL

BBR Starchip... any experiences?

OK, just replaced my ECU for one with a BBR Starchip on it, and was chatting to a mate on MSN, and when I mentioned I'd got a new ECU thats been chipped, similar to the Zone-Chip... His reply was "not bbr starchip i hope?" He's not elaborated yet, but can anyone tell me if they've had any experience...

Re: What suspension for trackcar?

either way you look at it, i cannot afford Ԛ£700 for a set of 4 shock absorbers, so I'm not going to regret it.

i'm sorting myself out with some bilstein yellows, which i'll be very happy with in conjuction with uprated antiroll bars
