My angeleyes have recently stopped working, i'm planning to remove these but i'm having problems getting standard dip beam working as the previous owner fitted the kit and i have no idea what wire goes where on the headlight! Any help/diagrams would be appreciated! Cheers - Nick

Dunno i can get rover V8's all day long if i blow one you see, plus theyre a lot lighter than chevy's, got a non pas car and still wanna retain its chuckability! Wanting to build it into a sleeper

Looking to do this swap, will be a non EFI V8 and it'l probably be running holley carbs or similar! Does anyone know if there is a kit to buy to fit this in (engine mounts, bellhousing etc). Also what would the the best gearbox to use??? Doubt a standard bm box would last!!

I'm trying to get a bit more oomph out of my 89 318i, its a nice car and insurance wont allow a 320is yet.. So i was wondering if theres anything i can do, ie chipping?? has anyone done this to theirs and was it worth it, already got an induction kit, does anyone manufacture 4branches and stainless ...

Think i'l stick with the 325 lump then! Germans are crazy when it comes to tuning, in the 80's a german company put full porsche 928 running gear in a mk1 golf gti!!!

Just bought a tidy bm 320i, only 2 owners from new and 77k but the engine was ran low on oil and now knocks its ass off, how difficult would it be to drop a 325 lump or evn if possible an old 730 lump if it'l fit?!?!?!!?

It was originally registered in Hull East Yorkshire, possibly at Paragon Bmw if they were on the go then.

I did an insurance quote on direct line using its reg no and it listed the car as a ravaglia, i supose direct line could well be wrong! i remember it was metallic black, could it be an evo2 convertible??

Mine came with a set on, they look good and you cant tell they're their during daylight, the only downside is the wiring seems a bit thin in!

Its leaking from the tank, bought a new one, need to rust proof best i can (schultz me thinks!) and fit it, the filler neck looks ok but just incase does anyone know of suppliers as euro discontiued it and bm want 67+the dreaded!

That was all it was gonna be used as, just a daily driver, then the bug caught on, gonna get rid of all the little bits that are starting to go, tidy the interior with a set of recaros etc etc, drove it today when it started snowing, very fun!

Are the barkes on 6cyl E30's differant to those on a 1989 318i, the fron discs on mine feel slightly warped and dont stop vey well, would 325 front calipers, discs and pads bolt straight onto the fixings??? -Nick

This is my 89 318i, its a poverty edition with no pas or abs or elec windows (best way, less to go wrong!) Its my first E30, i bought as a sick car off a friend as it was losing compression on 3rd and 4th cylinders, he thought it was the engine that had died but i thought it was head gasket, luckily...

I'd try and get repair panels from a company called hadrian or failing that you should be able to seek them from smaller panel companies! Good luck with the project, it'l be nuts when its done, be sure to take it on a trackday!
