Metallic Brown E30 Convertible (Tech1) - Members car?
I was driving home from work recently (Worthing Area) when i saw a stunning looking E30 Convertible coming in the opposite direction.... And i wondered if the car belonged to anyone here? It was eye catching, not only because it had a Tech-1 Kit - with genuine convertible skirts. But also it was fin...

Another non 'Motorsport edition' advertised as one......
Why do so many people advertise their convertibles as 'Motorsport Editions' when they are just 325i Convertibles with an M-tech Kit. I am not talking about genuine Macau/Sebring/Nogaro/Calypso/Mauritius cars, but all the other stuff I see advertised as genuine 'Motorsport Editions' This one for exam...

635csi Electric seats into E30
Could the electric (sport) seats from a late spec E24 fit into the E30? And to take the question further.... the E30 and E24 seats look identical in design... could a set of E30 (Sport) seats be converted to electric operation, if one wanted to keep the E30 trim? At this moment it is a purely hypoth...

Don't worry Tony, I'm fully aware of just how good a drive and ownership experience the E30 cabs .... I'm making the most of mine whilst I still have the opportunity to drive it everyday, so much so that what should be a 20 min drive home now lasts upto an hour and a half some evenings.... Re: just afew random pics
I agree with Tony...... I think your car is one of the nicest looking cabs i have seen! Royal Blue/Tech-1/Chrome = Perfect!!! If i was not having to sell mine, due to the total lack of use it will receive after the end of the month, I'd probably be thinking of selling it to buy yours!!! And i really...

I think Chandlers Angmering must do a good rate for the older models as they quoted £100.00 (inclusive) to do the valve adjustment on my E30. Which sounds like a good price to me?

They will be ok.... drive with sensible hat on when they are in the car, and if they break anything then i'll give the car to my brother for him to sort. and the thing only owes me £1500.00 with no point buying an estate or large car when we already have an E36 Touring for bigger journeys or trips a...

No, not decided either way.... But I think if I advertise her she'll sell quickly (one on e-bay in wank condition with the interior missing <replaced with a normal cabby interior> No MOT and no tax or history and with an auto box just sold for £2395 within half a day of being advertised). I see some of the later cars at 7-8k upwards and i see specialist garages selling nice condition 320i convertibles at 5-6k, then i see £1800 being a starting point for half decent NON motorsport editions convertibles, and was thinking of placing mine at about £3500.00 a...

Hi, the kit is a genuine M-tech 1 kit, but the sills are from a Tech-1 Sport, the previous owner (a friend of mine) had the kit fitted by a bodyshop about 4 years ago, there was no rust back then, and lots of preventative measures were taken to ensure the dreaded rot would not make an appearance (ev...
