how do i find out which rotrex charger i have got?
Hi people's. A few years ago I bought a rotrex charger from shepsevo on here (does he still use the site?). I am now trying to figure out what charger it is and I can't remember at all. Is there any way I can find out? There is a number on the charger bit after googling it I get nothing. Any help is...

E34s are great cars. I want another one! I look at ones for sale every now and then but haven't seen any for a while that look good enough to think about buying. Always such small amounts for sale :( I would imagine that next to a manual 540i the 525i is the one to go for, and certainly a more "sens...

My e30 is going to be homeless soon and ideally I need somewhere close by to store it.

Another thing to consider is whether Mr bodyshop man repairs the rust 100 correctly. Many cars I've seen that have had rust repaired, a few years later end up far worse than they would have if left alone. You MUST remove the kit. It was the first thing I did when I got mine. If there is grot above t...

valve clearances cat cam
I'm soon to adjust the valve clearances on my 2.7 m20. It has a 272 cat cam and I have been warned to make sure that I set the clearances to the cam manufacturers spec but I can't find this info anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Dave

What is the length of the thread on a e30 wheel bolt?

Tech1 cloth seats are not supposed to have m-tech badges I'm sure, not 100% about the grill and boot badges though.
I've seen a couple of tech 1's with factory leather.
Mine has no extras apart from leccy mirrors

I don't know what will be different about the mtech strip and the standard one, I can't think of why there would need to be a difference.... they were about 100 pounds from BMW about a year or so ago. Great to see another tech 1 going through a resto. There's been a fair few saved in recent years :c...

I would steer well away from that eBay turd! I'd bet any amount of money that it isn't genuine and if it is, as rob said it is ruined anyway.
Look for clarko's (i think that's his username) car. That is a very nice red chromey with a tech1 front spoiler, it doesn't require the rest of the kit imo

Looks great. I miss it. :D I think I actually prefer it LHD rather then RHD mainly because of the footrest. It has been superb so far. I've done a lot of miles in it and been on a few 400 mile journeys and its been faultless! And as I have been to the continent in it a few times it is actually bene...

Re:
The interior is soo much better now (thanks andre!), it needed a good bit of cleaning and i figured a rear bench with headrests and armrest was a must really. Just got to change or dye the headlining and put a decent donk in it. It is purely criminal that this car has a 2.0 engine imo

I'm using my 320i auto and its great. Warms up faster than any of my newer cars and de-mists the front screen quicker too! With the open diff the traction is appalling but its the only time the 2.0 auto has enough power to spin the wheels so I may as well make the most of it

If anything I'd have thought you'd be more attatched to the e30 after all it's been through!? Stick with the e30, get the work done on it and when it comes to summer you'll get that 'feeling' back. Any of the cars youve listed as possible upgrades are going to be cars that you'll want to replace fai...
