Hi Braaicharcoal speaking from Cape Town.

What you say of 325iS model in SA is not quite correct. It is substantially different from normal 325i. It was not simply a body kit.

Engine was 2.8 with different management system. Wheels were 5 stud 15 inch. Gear ratios were entirely different along with back axle ratio. Doors boot and bonnet were alloy giving a significant weight reduction.

All in all it did have a fairly higher performance than the 325i
