Brake Pad Sensor Light

Flickering brake pad sensor lights on the instrument cluster when all other symptoms are eliminated, ie. brake pads and sensors are good, can be caused by dry solder joints in the instrument cluster as illustrated by the image below (originally posted on the Zone by E30Mark):
