Any other adverts will be removed without explaination o Once your item is sold, please put a message and modify the topic, so the topic can be locked to avoid confusion/unnecessary posts. o Pictures in adverts: Standard forum image size rules apply. But please only a maximum of 4 images per advert. o eBay links are allowed. .. but for vehicles and vehicle parts only o No forum discussions as to whether its worth the price or not etc in any other section of the forum. Any posts to that effect will be removed

This forum is not free advertising for traders. Any such messages will be removed at the discretion of either a forum moderator or administrator. Selling of individual items is permissable by a private owner in our Classifieds forums, however selling multiple items of the same product is considered a commericial post and may be removed at the discretion of moderators and/or staff.

E30 Zone Disciplinary Procedures

In an Attempt to be more transparent about the Disciplinary Procedures utilised when someone breaks the terms and conditions of the e30zone website and forum, please find below a breakdown of the 4 stage Disciplinary plan.

These notes indicate the path that all warnings and strikes will follow, although moderators will have the ability to use their discretion when initiating proceedings.

Latter stages require consensus of opinion from several MODs to ensure that there are no grounds for accusations of favouritism or persecution.

Please note that the moderators reserve the right to apply an instant ban, without warning, to any member:

Threatening violence towards another member.

Making racial or sexual slurs towards another member.

Continually entering threads merely to provoke arguments.

1st Stage- “Friendly Warning”

This will be applied at the initial instance of the infringement.

Served either publicly or vie PM dependant upon situation.

Will outline nature of the infringement and suggest a possible solution to avoid reoccurrence.

Only requires 1 MOD to carry out this warning.

2nd Stage- “Official Warning”

This will be applied if the activities noted in stage 1 do not cease.

Served both publicly and via PM.

Will again highlight infringements and offer advice on what changes to behaviour are required.

Requires 2 MODS to be in agreement that behaviour is unsuitable or inappropriate.

3rd Stage- “Strike”

Failure of a complete cessation the activities that prompted stages 1 and 2, will incur a “strike”. This can take the form of either:

Restricted access to the Forum (e.g. no access to tech help, cars for sale etc) A temporary ban (from 1 week to 1 month (4 weeks) Length dependant on severity of the offence

Requires 3 MODS to be in agreement that behaviour is unsuitable or inappropriate.

4th Stage- “Ban”

If the user persists to infringe on the Terms and Conditions, there will be grounds for a full and final ban.

The user will be informed via PM, and the ban will take place within 24hrs.

A public notice will be written to alert all users to the change.

Requires 4 MODS to be in agreement that behaviour is unsuitable or inappropriate.

If you are banned for any reason DO NOT create a new account to try to circumvent the ban. If you are found to be doing this then you may be banned from the forum for good.

Private Messenger

You have a Maximum of 20 Private Messages (PM's), Please try and keep your Inbox available to recieve PM's, as it will help reduce FAO's asking people to clear their inbox on the forum.

Amendment of Rules

E30Zone.net reserves the right to revise these rules if and when it is deemed necessary. All such modifications take full force and effect immediately thereafter.

Scumball.

The times that word has been ringing in my ears as a car / hotel room / cell door has been slammed shut….

Well now I - and indeed the similarly afflicted amongst the greater Zone-ship - have the opportunity to replace my own private Pavlovian reaction to that word with something positive.

You will find everything you could ever need to know about the various forms of e30 within these walls and much more besides.

From intense debates on styling to nationwide social gatherings of e30’s and their owners. From silly annoying games you can play in that spare 5 minutes in the office to in depth technical articles and walkthroughs explaining how to do almost anything you need to do to your e30. Alongside this will be regular and up to the minute news and reviews from the bmw world, information on shows and national events and snippets from other e30 information sources.

Not to mention regular updates, articles and wry takes on the ins and outs of the e30 and the zone from my good self.

When your e30 breaks (and it will) you can rely on the incredible and unfathomable knowledge of the e30zone forums technical help guru’s to fix your problem and teach you so much about these cars that you wont know what to do with all your new found knowledge.

You will find an almost limitless ability to buy and sell anything e30 related. That little trim screw you lost when you changed your seats, a complete fire breathing 3.5 litre M30 engine, begging to be dropped into your engine bay. No matter how small or large, someone, somewhere will be selling it. The zone for sale/wanted section is infamous for its bargain prices and all items are sold by true enthusiasts that want nothing more than to help you make your car better in every way.

The zone even caters to lifes little essentials like alleviating boredom. Enter the weird and wonderful world of pub talk for the inane gibberings of all and sundry to wile away those hours of boredom at work. No subject is out of bounds (within reason, we don’t want to know about your latest std or how your cat just had the chop) and when times get hard, you will be overwhelmed by the support and solidarity that will be shown by your fellow members.

Be warned though, much like e30 ownership, it is an addictive site. In between obsessing about ways to make your car faster and ways to improve the already impeccable handling of the e30, you will find yourself wondering whats happened while you were away.

Have Andyboy and the gang found another victim for their banter?

Who is Mr Clarksun?!

All of these things will become important parts of your life, the zone will take over your consciousness. You will have arguments with your other half (be they man, woman or beast) about ‘spending all your time on that bloody pc’. These arguments will result in you storming off to the garage and working on your e30, which will then result in arguments about ‘spending all your time tinkering with that bloody car’.

But it will all be worth it.

When you sit in that seat, turn that key and pull out of the drive everything will fade to a pale insignificant background of things that aren’t you and your car. The commute to work will be the best part of your day, you will look forward to spending the day adjusting bits of your engine and wiring in new and complex parts that you’ve bought for your e30.

Driving will take on a whole new meaning, your days of sitting in traffic in your plain old steel box are behind you now, the joys of e30 ownership and e30zone membership are waiting.
